Michael Cheng has represented clients in the U.S. and abroad in a variety of high-stakes commercial lawsuits. Prior to joining Elsberg Baker & Maruri, Michael was an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore.

He earned his J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, where was a law clerk for the Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Prior to law school, he earned a master’s degree through MIT’s Technology and Policy Program and obtained concurrent master’s and bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and physics from Harvard.
